"Albela Mela" Diwali 2009 Office Cubicle Decoration.
This year our team decided to have "Albela Mela" as a theme after considering all the options for Diwali 2009 team cubicle decoration competition in our office. The preparation started one day before by deciding on the stalls and stall owners to have in the Mela followed by distributing the responsibilities for the stall owners to arrange the required materials for the cubicle decoration.
The next day started with a energetic note with all the material at place to build up the Albela Mela with lots of efforts and fun by all the team members and was build at around 3:30 pm after around 5 hrs. of continuous efforts.
We put all the efforts to make the Mela look as real as possible with the stalls like Meena Bazar(Neha-Nabila), Baloon shooting(Alesh), Hitech BhawishyaWani (this was my stall along with one of our team member Anup :) ), Bulls eye (Abhishek-Vishal Yadav), Chor bazar (Gorav), Asha ka chakkar(Varun), Shabnam studio(Sanjay-Satinder), Khoya-Paya vibhag(Rohit) and the Baloon sales person(Daya). Thanks to the team members like Vishal Bayskar, Abhinav, Mitali, Davesh and Manas whose energetic participation and presence added a lot more fun and keeps up the team spirit. And offcourse, not to forget the excellent onsite support from the dynamic team member Sangharsh. Each of the stall has its own story to tell which can take the effort of writing an entire article for each one of them to make justice to it, which I am certainly not going to do (Sorry guys :) ). Before concluding, I suppose pictures are worth thousand of words, so I am putting some interesting pictures below to let them talk for themselves of all the efforts that were put into this amazing cubicle decoration.
And the efforts were well paid off when our team win the second position for best cubicle decoration in the office.
